What is CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol which is a cannabinoid found in the hemp plant. Some types include THC while others may or may not contain the other cannabinoids found in the plant. Full-spectrum CBD oils come with everything in the hemp plant including THC, though it is legally allowed to have only 0.3% of THC in it to be able to be sold. The broad-spectrum CBD oil includes every cannabinoid present in the hemp plant except for THC which is a good choice for kids and those individuals who do not want any trace of THC at all in their CBD oil but want the benefits of the other cannabinoids of the hemp plant. Isolate CBD oils contain solely CBD and nothing else, which is why the term “isolate”.

CBD oils come in various forms including tablets, creams, oil tinctures and more. The reason they come in different forms is of course, for different purposes. For example, if one wants to control the amount of CBD he/she consumes accurately, buying a tincture can be the solution since one can measure how much they want to consume accurately. However, if taste is an issue and it is okay to consume a specific amount that comes in the form of capsules, then that can be a good choice for those individuals who prefer the same.

If aches and pains are an issue, CBD creams can be used for them instead of consuming CBD orally.
